   I was too old for a Barbie they said so I never owned my own. But my 2 sisters did.
   Best memory swimming and camping at the lake.
   Worst memory telling my Mom my sister was molested. She spanked my sister for allowing it. Screwed up huh.

   I did some searching for you and found the Monroe Park in Goldvein, VA. They offer free gold panning demonstrations starting in March. For $10 they will also provide a bag of sand taken from a local stream that is laced with gold flakes. You can visit their site at

    Similarities – Both Alaskan Natives and California Natives were attacked, slaughtered and pushed off of their lands by travelers.

    Differences – Alaska Gold Rush was more significant because there were very few people that left with less than $5,000… some even became millionaires! Also, Alaska's gold is still being mined! In fact, my grandfather and family still run a wealthy gold mine every summer.
    In California most travelers left with very little more money than they arrived with.

    Colorado around summitville or del norte or in around mt blanca in costilla county .. Mostly there are tons of places around colorado that are safe and there are many locals that will show you where to go and if you are lucky a land owner will give you a place to go for a minor fee..Check it out..there is alot of gold in them thar hills..

    I am a jeweler and My preference is yellow gold, with white gold people will often say " lovely silver ring", but if the silver look is your style then White Gold is best as it is harder wearing and stronger than silver. Rose gold is also OK.

    Black onyx is complimented by most colors.

    Don't skimp on the gold. Solid is better than a cheaper hollow ring.
